The mission of the Blessing Cup Project is to provide a creative and artistic venue that supports, trains, mentors, empowers, employs and inspires women in transition in Berkshire County, Massachusetts as they shift from poverty to a sustainable future.
Located in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts, The Blessing Cup Project™ was developed to support women in transition through the creation and marketing of artistic items. These items -- ceramic blessing cups, fabric/beaded blessing bags, sacred altar cloths, note cards and paintings -- are made by hand. Not only are they items of beauty, but the women who are trained to create them find peace, purpose and safety in the work environment. Whether they are women transitioning from welfare into the workforce or from an abusive relationship to wholeness and self-confidence, we value the importance of the work environment.
We also believe that forming a collaborative community is essential for the Project. The Blessing Cup Project invites a diversity of women into a common purpose of benefiting those in need of a helping hand at a critical juncture in life. Friendships are formed across socioeconomic lines and there is always mutual learning/sharing.
Hope, gratitude and abundance form the foundation of our Project. Even in the middle of difficult change or transition, we can encourage one another to recall blessings in our lives.
When we live with grateful hearts, we have more than enough
