Our Blessing Bags™ are handmade from colorful batik fabric with batting fill. Hand sewn and ornamented with beads, buttons and frilly yarns, a blessing bag is designed to hold sacred objects, prayers or personal treasures. Each blessing bag is made by a woman going through a life transition or change. Women gather in a sewing circle to sharing their hopes and dreams with one another while creating these one-of-a-kind blessing bags.

Large Blessing Bag

The Large Beaded Blessing Bag measures approximately 7.5” by 7.5”. Handmade from batik fabric and adorned with a spiral of beads on the front, each bag is uniquely crafted by a woman in transition, creating with her hands as she creates a new future in her heart. The larger size Blessing Bag not only holds more sacred treasures but is often purchased as a gift for someone going through a special rite of passage: a birthday, a wedding, the birth of a child, for retirement or recovery from a major illness/surgery.
